So please remember when defrosting your vehicle do not leave it unattended while it is insecure. If you need to defrost/warm up your vehicle please remain with it while the key is in the ignition with the engine running, as opportunist thieves will target vehicles like this.
As well as the actual theft of your vehicle, insurance companies will not pay out if a vehicle is stolen while being left insecure, so this is important to remember and keep on top of through the winter. |
